Q: What do people do for fun in winter other than skiing or going to bars?
A: I was in Toronto two weeks ago and it was not boring at all. It's fairly big with tourist areas, lots of restaurants, great shopping, and an eclectic amount of people. In the winter there is still restaurants, shopping, and all that. Usually in the winter it does not snow an incredible amount in Toronto, though last winter was definately an exception. If you are into winter sports there is also snowboarding and ice skating, as well as snowmobiling (if you enter outside the city into more rural areas) and ice fishing if you head into lake country. Toronto is one of the biggest cities in the world, def the biggest in Canada and is worth checking out.
