Q: I am planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to go boarding in Whistler. We are looking for great snow and good weather (blue skies?). Any help would be grately appreciated.
A: In most north american resorts the best snow and conditions are in Feb. and March. Sometimes spring sking can be good with great blue skies but you can't count on the snow levels. So you have a choice. Go for great snow and the chance of blue skies or go for great skies and the chance of decent snow. My choice would be early march. Good luck with that.
