Q: We are both in our early thirties. What would you recommend us to do, eat, or see? Vancouver, BC, Canada.

A: Food is generally pretty awsome. Your concierge should be able to recommand some good place to eat. Lots of ethnic restaurants in downtown, lots of Asian and Italian places. Most of them will post their menus out in front. Most hotels offer fine dinings. For the lady, there are many good spas around. Get a facial and a massage to start the vacation. Most are located in hotels. (Sheration Wall Centre, Pan Pacific, Hotel Vancouver.. etc) If the couple enjoys golfing, Vancouver has a lot to offer. You can find some of the finest courses here. Your concierge can help you with the bookings. For sight seeing, you can book a tour with Greyline or other tour companies to save the troubles with maps. Grouse Mountain offers a majestic view of Vancouver. Capilano suspension bridge is quite popular as well. Stanley Park was a must, but after the storm last fall the park is still under reconstruction, although some parts are open. Rent a bike and go around the seawall, very nice. If you have more time, take the Harbour Air seaplane to Victoria, and take Prince of Wales to see some orcas (killer whales) Gastown and Granville St. offers a lot of nightclubs.
