Q: Does anybody can tell me the characteristic of each communities in Vancouver BC? It could be very helpful to narrow down the location to research before buying a condo there. Thank you!
A: There are a number of wonderful communities within Vancouver. This depends on what you find attractive in a community. When considering a condo it is a good decision to get it near a Skytrain station(re-sale). I highly recommend Burnaby. If you like highrise buildings - the Metrotown(huge shopping mall) area of South Burnaby is very good. Middlegate area near Metrotown offers nice highrises as well. North Burnaby offers a selection of new and older buildings too. There are some fabulous older(+25 yrs) highrise buildings and some to STAY away from! Get yourself a Realtor(like me) that works and is familiar with the area and the different buildings.
