A: Where are you coming from? I am from Vancouver, very nice city. There are a lot of landlords out there that don't mind tenants with pets. Especially if you are renting a basement suite. If you don't know where you will be staying yet, steer clear of East Van, Especially around Hastings or East Broadway. There are a lot of rentals there, but it is a very scurvy and unpleasant area. Kitsilano is nice, has a lot of rentals and is near the beach. Lots of panhandlers though. Don't give them money, you are only feeding their addiction. I don't know what else to say.
