Q:

A: St George's as the other poster mentioned - but it is private so expect to throw down something in the neighbourhood of $15k / year for your kid to attend. Magee is public and in a fairly affluent area.. not especially known for its acadmeic prowess - but as a general rule highschools on the west side (ie west of Main St) tend to have better rates of performace (weather or not this is a result of a generally more affluent population vs a population with more immigrants and poor is debatable.) Vancouver College did in fact get some ugly publicity of late - as some of the Catholic 'brothers' there had been molesting boys for a number of years a local right wing think tank The Fraser Institute publishes an annual report card on high schools. http://www.fraserinstitute.ca/shared/readmore.asp?sNav=pb&id=906
