Q: I am looking for a water park(s) that is close to Vancouver,B.C. A theme park with water slids, tube rides, wave pools, etc...

A: The one on Granville Island is for little children. If you are an adult you will feel quite awkward there by yourself. There aren't any tubes or major slides to talk about. Richmonds watermania is alright, it has 3 indoor waterslides, and a wave pool but again you CAN find a lot more excitement. Splashdown, near the Tsawassen ferry terminal is a great place, tubes, black hole twisters, etc. There's also a great set of slides in Cultus Lake, these are a little far from Vancouver, but Cultus is BEAUTIFUL, pack a lunch and make a day out of it. The last set that I recommend are the Trans Canada Waterslides. Get up early in the morning, drive out past chilliwack and there you are. The are SOOOO much fun. Hope that helps
