how do salesmen ask for the sale?

A: You don't have to ask if your presentation is done well enough. They ask you! The trick is you have to get the customer to THINK they just have to have it. You have to show the cust the ropes! Get them motivated! Jog their brain. Like WOW I COULDA HAD A V-8! One way to do it is to PROVE the product. If you can impress the people then you are done. All you need is an order book. When color TV just came out years ago I delivered one to a bar called the cozy corner. I took the time to hook up the set and then told the manager it was for DEMO. When the big game was about to start I went back to the lounge and started to take back the set, the demo was OVER. At that time I was presented a check for 520 dollars to cover the set plus a tip. Their are ways to sell but you have to be on the ball. Do not bother trying to sell something that is a gimmick, if it is not worth the effort , the news spreads fast. Get a good product and demo it properly,stand behind it and KNOW YOUR PRODUCT. Gee I sound like a salesman! OOPS! Sales is an extremely cutthroat business but has high earnings potential. A good sales person can not only present a quality sales pitch, but they can overcome all resistance to a poorly prepared pitch as well. A sales pitch is usually a combined effort of both sales and marketing departments within larger companies, but any successful sales person must have an effective sales pitch to grow their business. LUKE USE THE FORCE! Live the product,use the product, SELL the product like you invented it ,you stand behind it, you are the man AND you are 100% convinced this is THE product to beat all others.
