Q: In Canada pros? cons?

A: Pro: Richmond has approximately 1.8 jobs per resident on the island (yes it is an island and a rather flat one at that). You won't be homesick for the prairies living in Richmond. Con: You'll be in for a giant culture shock if you are expecting a mainly caucasian population like Red Deer. Richmond is almost entirely Asian (many came from Hong Kong just before the British gave it back to China). I don't have a problem with the Chinese but I don't find them especially sociable outside of their own language and cliques and Richmond is a hotspot for them to be able to speak Cantonese wherever they go. You might be happier with a few more English speaking neighbors to socialize with or you'll likely be pretty lonely and isolated. I'm of course taking a huge assumption here that you're not Asian. Even if you are though, I think you might be happier close by but not in Richmond. http://www.realtylink.org
