A: This post is probably too late.. but for future reference: There's the Vancouver Aquarium. Only a small portion of the aquarium is outside - there's plenty of fascinating displays inside. Take the Sea-bus to Londsdale Quay ("key") from Waterfront Station. It's a great way to see the harbour as well as having a nice treat at the Quay. Granville Island, including the public market. It's a wonderful place with lots of cool shops and the public market is fabulous. The HR MacMillan Planetarium and the Martitime Museum. Or.. as someone else suggested, get some umbrellas and enjoy the rain. Especially in Stanley Park. The rain is really quite beautiful, especially if you know that there's a hot coffee or tea waiting for you at a coffee shop that is always just around the corner.
