Q: Plan to drive from California to Seatle( I-5) and across the British Columbia and Yukon( hwy 97 and 1)to Alaska, anyone has such experience before? how was the road and roadside service?
A: You won't have any problems all roads are good.Iv'e drivem Van,B.C. Cal.5-6 times lots of service along the way.Driven Van.Alaska 3 times no problem.Our last trip to Alaska we took the ferry from bellingham to Skagway so I only had to drive one way coming home.I'd say the roads and Alaska Highway as very good and the people very nice it's a nice trip.
