Q: It does not need to be Vancouver, but I heard that Vancouver has a nice scenery and the people are just as nice. If not Vancouver, you that live there, what city would you recommend?
A: Buenos dias. Me gusta mucho Guadalajara - es muy bonito. We especially enjoy the friendliness of the people in Guadalajara and have close friends in Zapopan, Ajijic and Chapala. As to your question - there is no Spanish speaking community in Vancouver - there are many Spanish speaking people but they tend to be scattered all over the greater Vancouver area. There may be a few more in the Commercial Drive area, which has a fairly large Italian population and has some of the street cafes that are popular in Europe, but other than that, Spanish speaking people live in all parts of Vancouver. Please enjoy your visit to Vancouver. It is a beautiful city and friendly one.
