Q: Hotel prices on Thanksgiving are relatively inexpensive, but I'm afraid that Whistler will be too busy on opening day. Can anyone comment from personal experience?
A: Hi There, Whistler is not too busy when it opens. Whistler Mountain is actually opening on November 17, 2007 and then both mountains will open on November 22, 2007. One thing to remember. These mountains are huge...if you haven't skied here before it is hard to imagine. This is going to be my 15th 'Opening Day'.
