A: If you are a Canadian you *do* pay for it.. but you pay for it via your taxes and medicare premiums and you don't receive a bill afterwards. If you are not on the Canadian medicare, then you should consult with the hospital. If you do not have coverage, it's not cheap. As I said, Canadians have paid for the medical coverage through our taxes.. it's not cheap.
