Q: Is it snowing in vancouver like is there any snow on the ground? How cold is it?
A: Vancouver rarely gets snow although when they do it really snarls up traffic due to the number of hills that get er slippery. At present temperatures are around 8 C so no snow except on some of the mountains. If you want snow though Whistler is the place to go. They have a bit on the mountains and it has started falling around the village area although it is not really staying yet. Except in a few cases, we generally get most snow on the ground in January although several years ago there was a real heavy snowfall just after Christmas, especially up the Fraser Valley from Vancouver.
