Q: I am thinking of taking my date for dinner to a romantic, quiet and fun restaurant in Vancouver. I hate those restaurants where you need to scream instead of talking. Any suggestions?
A: It's been a while since I've been to a restaurant that doesn't include toys with meals, but I know of two nice restaurants that I went to before kids. Neither are in Vancouver, but one of the most romantic restaurants that I've ever been to is the Hart House in Burnaby. It's off of Canada Way over by where the Burnaby Heritage Museum is. http://www.harthouserestaurant.com/ Another nice restaurant, and sorry.. again in Burnaby.. is Horizons Restaurant on Burnaby Mountain, by Discovery Park (near SFU).
