How to go Canada from seattle by car?

Q: I am planning to visit seattle and Cananda during christmas holidays, but has no idea, how to deal Canada immigration requirements . I am having indian passport and Greeen Card and what are the places to visit in Vancouver. I will appreciate any information in this regards. Thanks

A: depending on how you get to Vancouver, car, boat or aircraft, you will show your passport and ID just as you would at any other border crossing. you should have no problem based on the documents you listed above. you have a couple of different ways to get to Vancouver BC from Seattle. You could drive up I-5 and cross the border in Blaine, be sure to visit the Peace Portal Arch there. you could take the high speed cruise ship aka the Victoria Clipper from Seattle to Vancouver, here's the link http://www.clippervacations.com/ or you could fly from SeaTac airport into Vancouver. Of course there is much to do and see in Seattle, the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Pike's Place Market and so much more. In Vancouver, be sure to go the Royal Canadian Museum of Science and Nature, the Vancouver Zoo and Aquarium and if you can get up to Buchwald Gardens, which is still amazing, even in winter. If you have time, check out Simon Frazier University, they have a great paleontology museum on campus. The waterfront pavillions can also provide some good entertainment, great beer and food. have fun!
