Q: I am driving up to Vancouver from Seattle today. I have never driven up at peak times before (until today) so have always been lucky with the border. Can anyone tell me the average wait time crossing at Blaine, WA or the truck crossing on a Friday between about 4pm and 6pm?
A: going into vancouver is not a problem actually... even for a friday afternoon. it shouldn't take you more than an hour... even 30 minutes. it's the other way around that's the problem... going into seattle would take you 3-5 hours. regardless of the time. unless of course, it's the middle of the night. why don't you check this website. this is what my husband and i always do before we go up there. it gives you updates on how the border looks (cameras) http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/border/ edit... as of 3:44pm, border wait time is only 10 minutes for pacific crossing.
