A: Vancouver is on Pacific Time, so most of the time he's going to be eight hours behind you (assuming you're on Greenwich Mean Time). To illustrate, when it's 4:00 PM there it would be 8:00 AM in Vancouver. Not sure if Canada is on Daylight Savings Time though. If they are, he would be seven hours behind you when Daylight Savings Time starts, which is usually in March or April. P.S.: I double-checked -- Greenwich Mean Time is 1:46 PM right now, and it's 8:46 AM here in Detroit, which means there's a five-hour difference between Greenwich Mean Time and Eastern Standard Time. Pacific Standard Time is three hours behind Eastern Standard Time, so Vancouver is definitely eight hours behind Greenwich Mean Time.
