Best place to visit on vancouver Island?

Q: I'm going there in march, so i want to know what some good place's would be. ( can you please descripe where it is). Thanks!

A: I love Vancouver Island! You get the best of all worlds! There are mountains in the interior of the Island, ocean, farmland and plenty of communities with culture, activities and shopping. As someone above suggested, make sure to have a car - Victoria is the largest city (and the capital of British Columbia) and there's plenty to see, but you would be missing so much if you didn't venture from the city. My personal favourite place on Vancouver Island is the town of Tofino. It's on the west coast of Vancouver Island, is quite artsy, and the breath-taking vistas almost reach over-kill, it's so gorgeous. Tofino is right on the ocean, surrounded by old-growth forests, islands in the inlet and of course Long Beach. There are picturesque lighthouses, some wonderful trails and lots of local artisan museums. While March isn't the biggest tourist time to visit Tofino, you might be fortunate enough to catch a late winter-early spring storm and see some amazing waves on the oceans! http://www.tofino-bc.com/ There is a variety of places to stay there - from camping, to bed&breakfasts to resorts. But honestly, nomatter where you go on Vancouver Island, you can't go wrong. Have a great trip!
