Q: As I mention in my first question, we just can't stand the snow and the cold anymore.. however, we also would like to grow up our little girl in a nice area. A Place where she will be safe (I know hard to ask for but there must be a place in BC where it's safe. I am also hoping to get a transfer from my current job out there. I work for the phone company here. So I just need ask for a transfer.. Is it really dark most of the time? and how often does it rain? how often does the sun shines? the sun shines allot here in Calgary (WHICH I love).
A: If you don't like snow and cold, your best bet is to opt for somewhere in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island. Is it dark most of the time? No. It's the same as Calgary as far as hours of daylight go. How often does it rain? There is a rainy season - usually October, November, and sometimes December. Jan, Feb, Mar are usually clear and cool, April showers bring May flowers and then it's summertime, which is beautiful on the coast - not as hot as Calgary, nor as humid.
