Do all these people who are activists for the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver actually live there?

Q: Or do they go back to their nice suburban upper-class townhouses and estates at night in good neighborhoods? Do they get bored with their privilege and feel guilty so then they feel the need to take up this cause? Usual left-wing moral and cultural relativism.

A: some of these activists are paid for their participation. You will see some of the same usual suspects at any rally ( especially political ones since that gets the most attention). Most however are not. I would be very surprised if they lived in the higher income areas of town but they could still live at home? Whether they are Downtown East Side residents who knows probably more like East Side residents ( there is a difference ). Either way whether you agree with their motives or not, something has to be done about the people living in the Downtown Eastside. What can be done is another question? I don't think anyone knows what the solution is. Fix the buildings or fix the drug addictions?
