Q: abroad yes...:) thanks Thank you Jennifer for your answer...but how to get a job interview if all employers ask for a working permit? When they see that you don't live there, they usually never give a feed back to your application?

A: I received my 12month working visa then started applying for jobs whilst I was still at home in England. I managed to get a few telephone interviews and was offered a job, but actually, when I arrived in Vancouver, I decided that job wasnt for me and found another one within a week. It was a long week of walking around all of downtown for hours, and going into locations where I though I may want to work, handing out my resume and waiting for people to contact me, then going to interviews etc, but paid off cos I got a way better job in the end. There are loads of jobs out here, depending on what you want to do. All the shops have staff wanted signs up. There are also loads of recruitment agencies who can find you something long or short term. Good luck
