Q: I will be going there for 3-4 months, but am not used to driving! Is public transport OK there?
A: It all depends on where you will be staying while in Vancouver. In the City of Vancouver transportation is very good and coming in from the suburbs there is the Light Rail Transit system which is also very good. If you are driving be aware that Vancouver itself has little or no freeway system due to the fact that it is highly populated and has water basically on three sides. Vancouver is a very diverse place with multi nationalities residing there so be prepared if you are from a basically caucasian area.
