Q: I'm working on a short story about voyeurism that features a group of "peeping toms," and I need a list of public locations in Vancouver, BC, that heterosexuals cruise for sex. I know Stanley Park and Wreck Beach are popular spots, but where exactly in these places do people do it? Be as specific as possible please (even mentioning the appearance of the location and which tree or shrub people do it behind). Thanks!
A: If you're looking for hetero spots, then stay away from Stanley Park, it's strictly gay sex down there (after dark only, behind the washroom buildings at the miniature train). Wreck Beach - nudists, but not much sex. Down by the waterfront, you can always find a guy getting serviced in a car by a crack ho, but that's not exactly voyeur material. The Totems at UBC used to have a spot out back where people met for a quickie, but since the shrubbery has been cut back, I don't think that happens anymore. Sorry, can't think of any more than that.
