Q: We are keen to spend about a week between Calgary and Vancouver in late December/Early January of 2009. We plan to then head south into Seattle, Oregon and maybe Wyoming before ending our trip at Anaheim then return to Australia. Will the cold be too much to prevent us from seeing anything/enjoying the trip? We spent time last year in LA and Las Vegas at the same time last year. Thanks for your opinions.

A: Calgary will be much colder than Vancouver. You will need a parka there. In Vancouver you will need to have raingear since it rarely snows here in winter; instead it rains a lot.
