A: What re you looking to do while you're here? I've lived in the city for 3 years, and I LOVE IT!! I would never get a hotel in burnaby/new west/coquitlam as someone else suggested. You'd spend all your time fighting with traffic and commuters. If you're coming to see the city, SEE IT! There is a hotel in the west end, Coast Plaza. It's in english bay 2 blocks from the beach, and runs about $119/night. Not right downtown, but much cheaper and a short walk! Let me know if you have anymore questions, I'd be happy to help :)
