how is the transit in vancover?

Q: i come from Toronto and i coming to a visit in vancover and i want to know how is the pubic transit in vancover .and how much it is and also can you give me their website

A: Depending where you are, it's quick, functional and for the most part comfortable. We have new electric trollies that the bus drivers seem to be having a hard time learning how to drive and the ride lately has been quite jerky. If you stay within Vancouver you are in Zone 1. An adult pass that lasts 90 mins is $2.50. If you're going to do lots of traveling over a few days, buy a book of tickets. It's $19 for 10 so you save money and pay $1.90 for 90 mins. If you're going to travel a lot in one day then consider a day pass for $9.00 which can be used in all zones. Another handy feature is the text messaging "Next Bus" service. Once you figure out which bus you need to take, go to a stop and text the 5-digit stop number on the sign and the bus number to "33333". Within seconds it will text you back telling you when the next bus is scheduled to arrive. Translink's website is: www.translink.bc.ca PS: I'd love to know what bus an adult can take for only $1.75 as posted above. That hasn't been the fare for over 6 years now.
