Q: Is rent car necessary for major tourist sites? try to do transit only. What are must see sites for 3 days visit? Thanks.
A: The Vancouver Aquarium located in Stanley Park. Grouse Mountain for a wonderful view of the entire Lower Mainland. Take a BC Ferry to Vancouver Island and visit Victoria. The bus will take you from downtown Vancouver right onto the ferry and then into downtown Victoria. Public transportation is very good so you don't really have to rent a car although it would be more convenient. Hope you have a wonderful visit.
