Q: i am 20 years old i have two jobs right now, and i really want to move vancouver for a bit. this will be my first big move and it will be by my self. i have been looking for cheap places and found a hotel on hastings and grode (it is only 550 a month) i know its a bad area but that dont scare me... i just would like to hear some advice and how i should do this and steps i should take, because i really want this to work out... thank you
A: I can guarantee that this "hotel" is going to be filled with rats, bed bugs, hookers, and drug dealers/addicts. Do yourself a favour and save a bit more before coming out, i did the move alone at age 18 and i was glad i'd stashed come money in the bank to get myself a nice apartment, it was worth it. Look for a roommate in a safe area, it's your best bet!
