Q: I would love for my photographer to shoot us while grizzly bears are grazing in the back ground. I cannot think of a better natural spot in the world to get married other than the beautiful Yukon or British Columbia.
A: Do you have any idea how big a grizzly is? Ever seen their claws?(probably as long as your fingers or longer.) Ever seen what those claws can do to a scalp? I have and it isn't a pretty sight. Any idea how many dumb tourists have died or been mutilated by bears over the years? Grizzly Adams was a TV show - wild grizzlies will not pose for your camera. Wild bears are not usually very accommodating that way. Some animals are very predictable when faced with human presence - grizzlies are not. They can perceive danger in the most innocent movements. Do you really think the Game Wardens and safety industries have nothing better to do than look out for someone deliberately putting themselves in harms way? You ask "Am I crazy?" The answer is a resounding "yes".
