What's a good way to get to Vancouver BC, from Seattle?

Q: I am planning to visit Vancouver Island (Victoria) during my stay in Seattle. Can't quite figure out whether it makes sense to drive or is it better to take a ferry. Any good advice?

A: So where are you going? Vancouver or Victoria? Two different places. If you're going to Vancouver, point your car northbound on I-5 and go. Once you're across the border it's highway 99. Follow the signs to Vancouver. If you're going to Victoria you have a number of options. Mostl include driving AND ferry. You can drive to Canada (see instructions above) following hwy 99 to hwy 17 then 17 west to Tsawassan (sp?) Take the BC Ferry to Sidney then drive south on 17 to Victoria. You could take the Anacordes Ferry from just outside Bellingham to Sidney. You could take the Coho from Pt Angeles WA, to downtown Victoria, you could take the Clipper from downton Seattle to downtown Victoria. Finally, it's much faster to just fly. Get the point? Do some research and most importantly decide where you're going. Vancouver or Victoria.
