Q: I have been living in asia for years and now i am moving back to canada(my home country) I will not have had a job for years..... What is a landlord going to want from me? And what ever they ask for is there a way around it?
A: They will want your first months rent, a damage deposit (half the rent) a work reference and a previous tenancy reference. Also your photo identification. Way around it... get friends to reference for you. Also, most decent places will do a credit check. Good luck
