Q: I'm going to Victoria this summer, but I'd like to spend sometime in Vancouver too. I know there's a fairry, I just don't know if its worth using if its like a 2 hour ride or something. I really want to do the hop on hop off trolly tour aswell if someone could give me advice about that. thanks
A: The ferry ride is approximately 1 hr and 35 minutes between Victoria and Tsawwassen. It takes about 1/2 hour to go from downtown Victoria to the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal and, depending on traffic, anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours to get from Tsawwassen to Vancouver. Since you need to be at the ferry terminal prior to boarding you should add about antoher 1/2 hour each way.
