A: There is only one ferry, the BC Ferries one. You can go from Tsawwassen(near Vancouver) to Swartz Bay(near Victoria). There is also a BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver to Departure Bay in Nanaimo, and that's about a 2 hour drive from Victoria. Depending what part of Vancouver you're leaving from, the total trip can be not much different in time for each of those routes. The ferry trip itself is almost exactly the same duration for both routes. The Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay route is a little more scenic since you pass through the Gulf Islands.
