Q: im thinking of moving from nj to canada
A: The first poster is an arse and obviously not Canadian. It rains quite a bit, but when it does not, it is amazingly beautiful. The mountains to the north and the beaches to the south. It rarely snows in places like White Rock and South Surrey. There are great places to shop and the city is very diverse. There is a section of downtown where all, and I mean all, of the homeless people live, so that would be the only area to avoid in order to keep a good view of the city of Vancouver. You can read up on the city if you search for Vancouver on Wikipedia's website. A really bad thing.... it is horrifically expensive. More so than New York city if you can imagine that!
