Q: I don't actually plan on doing much as I am going to catch up with a friend, we're no doubt going to walk everywhere, do the touristy thing, catch the bus etc. and other than that eat, catch a few movies, maybe go to a few bars. Nothing major. Does $400 seem like enough? *I'm changing my money from British pounds to Canadian dollars
A: Yes 400 dollars is enough as long as you don't go mad. If you want to you can go blow that in 1 night. I presume your friend is living in Vancouver so they will make sure you don't get ripped off. Buse's in Vancouver are very frequent & on time & are very reasonable. Eating out is usually less than eating out here. Gastown is a tourist area everyone heads into. Don't buy stuff in Gastown it will be cheaper in the department stores.
