Q: i really desperatly need money for today.. and i only have usa dollars right now... can i use it in stores?
A: Most places do accept it. I've worked in several convenience stores and they all did, and I think most retail places do. They will probably exchange it straight across, or they may have their own rate. You should ask first about their exchange rate, because they may try to rip you off. Also, many banks are open on Saturdays now, so they would give you a fair exchange rate. TD always is, and many Royal Banks, I'm not sure about others.
