Q: I mean, people say that it is a great place for outdoors. That does not add up. If there is so much rain and they say there is, how can one comfortably do outdoors?
A: basically from May to mid-October our weather is fine. Rain is the exception. Mind you between November and April sunny days are the exception and the winetr is when we get all that famous rain. . How does that jive with outdoor pursuits... well "rain" here isnt always the heavy wet downpours but more like misty, light on/off drizzle which is perfect for physical exertion. Dress in fleeces or gortex and you get along just fine for hours outdoors.
