Q: im going to playland tomorrow and i need to know which hotel to stay in i need one close to playland
A: the guy above me wasn't completely true... there is a best western that is about one-block away from playland.. you literally walk out your door and you're there.. I myself used to work at playland and he was partly true on if you go closer to downtown vancouver near main street and what not.. its quite a sketchy area and definately not the place to find a hotel.. but the BEST WESTERN EXHIBITION PARK hotel.. is in a decent part of downtown and i myself have walked around there at night waiting for buses and its not bad.. there is also a mcdonald's right across the street (i know it's not the best food but it is convenient) and also there's a huge bus loop in the opposite direction about a block away as well from this hotel and within 15min.. you can either be at a mall or at a skytrain station which can take you to other malls within surrounding areas... and there is also a bus that drives right by it which can take you downtown.. for bus schedules and everything i would look at www.translink.bc.ca and for info about the hotel itself i've included the address as well.. http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/productInfo.do?propertyCode=62071 i hope you enjoy your day at playland!!
