A: Vancouver itself is really hard to find affordable housing everything has gone up.. my suggestion is look in surrounding areas such as burnaby, coquitlam, new west.. most of us are all linked by skytrain right to downtown and i myself live in these outer sub-divisions and its about a half hour or so commute on skytrain which is not bad at all... plus traffic sucks to go in and out of the vancouver area anyways.. skytrain is definately the best solution!! also quite a few of my friends found either room-mates or other types of affordable housing online @ craigslist.com..
