Q: I'm in Canada, how much would it usually cost and how do I get it made?
A: Get the forms from Passport Canada (website is usually easiest). http://www.ppt.gc.ca/form/index.aspx?lang=eng Get your photo done right. Go to some place like London Drugs. The passport office will not take photographs for you. Remember in Canada it's: No Shine, No Smile, No Teeth, No White Clothes, No Emotion, No Tilt, No Reflection, No Shadows........ Mail in your forms, or even better take them to a local passport office and apply in person. That way if there's a problem you know right away and not a month later. http://www.ppt.gc.ca/service/index.aspx?lang=eng Cost varies depending on type of passport: http://www.ppt.gc.ca/cdn/section6.aspx?lang=eng Time to process varies. Usually 2 weeks + mailing time if you apply in person. Double that for mail in.
