Q: I will be immigrating to Vancouver next Jan. and I wanted to know what vancouver weather is like all year round compared to British weather usually cold and rainy when is it hot or when is it cold winter season etc..

A: WINTER: it starts to get colder in Oct. but really winter starts in about Nov. It doesn't snow in the city all that much (but the local mountains get a good amount of snow for skiing etc.) it just rains pretty much all the time. Temperature wise it's very mild but feels a bit cooler because of the ocean air, not usually going below 0 in the daytime. SUMMER: Bout June-mid sept? As I said before Summer is usually pretty good on rain, this year we had about 5 days I think? Probably more this summer was pretty crappy: lots of cloudy days:(. As for temperature, its still mild, MOST summers it hovers around 22-25 but can go up to 30. This year we had a couple of 17's..... SO yeah. And the months inbetween are rainy. My information may be inaccurate though for the future cuz you never know what Global Warming is going to do to our weather:P
