Q: How is Victoria B.C like? Is it like Toronto? is the crime low? whats there to do? what areas in Victoria are good to live? where there lots to do a mall.. stores.. amusement parks.. and a library etc?.. restaurants.
A: You can't compare Victoria to Toronto!! I have lived in Victoria for about 2 years. It is by far the most beautiful city in Canada. I speak from experience....thanks to the military I have lived from Newfoundland, to Victoria. Victoria is gorgeous, with beautiful green grass, clean air, clean streets, lots of beautiful landscaping, beaches etc. The crime is low per the population. I reccommend living in Langford, or Colwood. Of course with beauty, comes a price. As the saying goes, BC, means "bring cash." Victoria is the MOST expensive city in Canada right now. You literally cann't buy a old shack of a house for a half a million bucks. Thats why I love the Langford, and Colwood areas...much more afordable and only 20minutes from Victoria city ctr. If you hate rain, please don't move here. It rains ALL winter. we get next to no snow, and fofr some people the rain is depressing. Though our summers are sunny...around 28-32 degrees. good luck!
