Q: In your opinion.. what's winnipeg like ??
A: It is the centre of Canada, and the capital of Manitoba. Homes are still affordable, there are jobs to be had, and there is lots to do. We have shopping, theatres, symphony, athletics, and are close to beaches, camping, hunting. We have museums, parks, riverboats, historical sites, something for everybody. It is my home town. I live abut 5 minutes outside the city, near one of our great parks, Birds Hill Provincial Park, and less than an hour drive from one of the world's best beaches, Grand Beach.
