Q: Have migrated to Canada,Winnipeg sometime back and plan to settle. Where in Winnipeg can I have a better living...purchase a house with school for kids nearby and all other necessary utilities nearby...including a bus stop. cheap grocery shopping,hospital etc, or maybe even a community centre.Any help or info will be greatly appreciated
A: I'd say Fort Richmond or Fort Gary in the southern end of Winnipeg. Homes are nice there, and some are more affordable than others. St. Vital is also nice. The hospital nearby is Victoria Hospital and there are good schools. Bus system is nice and frequent due to St Vital Mall and Pembina Hwy. (and the University of MB)
