Q: I have planed to travel to Winnipeg this Summer ,how much should I have for my expenses per month ?(Except accommodation) I don't drink alcohol,
A: You can live on very little here as food, entertainment etc is relatively cheap here. For groceries I am on a limited budget, I'm feeding a two person household and usually spend around $300 in a month at most. Hydro is fairly inexpensive, approximately $30 in an apartment. Water and heat are usually included in renting an apartment. Cable/phone/internet allow for approximately $150. If you drive, gas would very on how much you drive, insurance depends on the type of car etc. The bus costs you $2.00 each way. Entertainment would vary as well. If you like to go to clubs and what not, eat at restaurants, go see movies etc. So it's really hard to say what to budget for entertainment. I would guess on average $250 but you could change that to suit your needs. It's a guess. It's really hard to tell you what to expect for expenses.b/c no one knows your life style but you. But those we're some ideas.
