Q: I am going to Winnipeg Manitoba for a course in the summer at the University of Manitoba Other than the dorms can anyone recommend an extended stay hotel which is not too far or on a bus route to the University of Manitoba Its the U of M not the University of Winnipeg thank you
A: There is a motel on Pembina Highway, very close to the U of M called the Capri Motel (I'll double check that for you when I have the chance) and I know the owner encourages extended stay's. I believe, two years ago, he quoted me $7-800 for a month in a suite with a kitchenette. I'm not sure how long you plan on staying but there is the option of renting an apartment on a monthly basis, some rentail agencies do that...you could also look on Craiglist for room and board!
