A: There is crime in Winnipeg and Brandon, although being a large city it's higher in Winnipeg. I've lived in both places, and it depends where you are coming from which one you'd like best. If you like big cities and lots to do, Winnipeg is the place to be. Brandon is a nice town, but it's "sleepy" and there's not as much to do as in the big city. It's also more laid back and slower paced.
