Q: What are some fun things to do in Winnipeg, Manitoba? We're going there in a few weeks to stay with family for a week
A: I have been there myself a number of times and there is lots to do. malls, theaters, hiking, go to the "Forks", everyone in Winnipeg knows were it is and walk along the river side, shop on Portage and Main, and do not forget to have a Salisbury House Hamburger (unless your a vegetarian), they are quite unique, another area to see is along the Henderson Av/Hwy area, there are shops and everything, even take the tour bus around to see the historical parts of the city, believe me it will be hard to pack in this much to do in one week. I have been there for business and when I worked for a hotel chain did a function for the Queen at a historic hotel there.
